Emerging Scholars Research Experience for Undergraduate Women

Our annual program, which began in 2014, pairs first-year and sophomore women at IU Bloomington with faculty mentors who conduct research that actively engages students with computing and/or technology.

Participants have the opportunity to present a poster about their research, receive feedback from judges, network with other women researchers, and compete for scholarships.

Mentor Collective Program

Each year, this program matches female student mentees with professional women mentors based on career aspirations, common interests, and background. Mentors and mentees can choose from two tracks – Women & Tech or Black Women & STEM – to virtually connect, share, and discuss career development, networking, confidence building, job environment awareness, and more.
