Tackle Research with a Team
Each year, as part of our Emerging Scholars Research Experience Program, 12 teams of students participate in our Annual Research Hackathon. Drawing on a model common in technology, a research hackathon is an event where teams creatively tackle a research problem or question using a provided data source or sources in a condensed amount of time. This hackathon invites participants to research how gender identity in leadership can affect the governance and financial performance of their companies. Sponsored by the IU Center of Excellence for Women & Technology through a collaboration with Kelley School of Business faculty and the IU Statistical Consulting Center.
