I had reached out last year because I had heard of what IU was doing and really think its state-of-the-art and that every university should have a program like this and I want to absolutely wanted to be a part of it and I can't wait to come on campus this March

I’m giving an additional talk on Saturday which is become a negotiator learn the secrets to earn more money in your in your career and that's the continuation of my story when I got back from the g8 Innovation Summit I found out that I was paid 51st of a pair had been paid 50% more than me and instead of getting mad I went up they did something about it and I tripled my salary and that additional amount that I'm making is six figures so I am going to reveal the secrets the whole framework what I did so not only will you leave inspired going oh my goodness if she can do it I can do it too but there you're gonna walk away with a framework that you can apply.

my advice and that this is advice that I apply across my life is it costs you nothing to show up it's your time and the biggest changes that I've gotten in my life or when I almost didn't show up and I look back and I go oh my goodness I can't believe I almost didn't show up but I did and just by the act of showing up people think that there's a lot of work working that they're gonna feel ostracized deserve they might not have the support that they need and the secret that's the secret and I leave with this and that the keynote that I'm gonna give at the summit is you got to start you got to show up and that is actually 95% of the work to do that so if you have the courage just show up just write it from there and that is doing more than most of the other women to get ahead

The Summit: Celebrating Women & Technologyis an annual conference hosted by the IU Center of Excellence for Women & Technology on the IU Bloomington campus. The Summit provides an opportunity for the IU community to share, learn, engage with, and experience technology across a variety of skill levels and disciplines.
Online registration is now open.
