Graphic Design Intern

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, the Graphics Design Intern supports the Center’s visual branding by creating clear, engaging graphics used on the Center’s social media pages, website, e-mail campaigns, online calendar, presentations and reports, marketing materials, and print communications such as flyers, posters, brochures, display boards, t-shirts, stickers, and other swag.

All student employees are required to:

  • Attend mandatory Student Leadership Orientation Retreat the first weekend after fall classes begin
  • Work at our annual Technology Summit 

Qualifications

Required

  • Must be a current IU Bloomington student
  • Keen eye for design trends
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as in partnership with the team
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and/or other common design layout applications.

Preferred

  • HTML/CSS coding skills

Schedule and Pay

Work Schedule

An average of 10 hours per week to be performed mostly during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm). Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required.
