Project Description
IU needs to evaluate and encourage ethical and positive adoption of AI for students. The research question is focused on how students are currently using AI, and what are questions they have around using AI for educational purposes, and what supports are needed for students? We need to identify pathways, practices, and supports that need to be implemented to support our students and ensure they are able to successfully use and apply AI in their studies across disciplines.
Technology or Computational Component
Students will need to have a basic understanding of AI and the AI tools we have available at IU (https://uits.iu.edu/ai/index.html). The research will employ survey research and focus group interviews. We will utilize qualtrics and other AI tools to help collect and analyze the data.
