Project Description
This project aims to calculate a measure of "disruptiveness" on the citation network between US legal opinions written by the federal judges, in order to identify the most disruptive legal opinions in the US legal history and what made them disruptive and impactful.
Technology or Computational Component
The project will employ Python programming language and some machine learning techniques. The measure has been developed and studied in the scientific citation network, and the project will bring it to the network of legal opinions.
