Project Description
For this project, we will work with various software to construct, explore, analyze, and visualize literature to determine major themes and trends. We will gather literature related to various important topics, including diversity and inclusion efforts in various STEM fields, data management in earth and environmental sciences, cross-cultural education, etc. There will also be time to explore your interest and use the tools to find trends interesting to you! If time permits, we will also compare the summaries of these trends with other data exploration methods, including topic modelling and textual thematic analysis.
Technology or Computational Component
There is no previous computational or technological knowledge needed, and all computation tools we will use will be freely available. We will use Zotero, VOSViewer, R and R Studio, and Google Collab. Depending on the project's progress, we may also use ChatGPT and Python.
