Project Description
We will analyze social media data regarding unsettled scientific topics such as climate change, COVID-19, or artificial intelligence about which the public tend to be uncertain. We will investigate how the conversations and discussions evolve on different platforms (such as Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram) and if the messages from scientists align with the public discourse.
Technology or Computational Component
Data collection and some analysis may require programming as data collection uses API. The knowledge of using R would be helpful.
