Project Description
The goal of this project is to understand how the incorporation of data analytics projects into upper-level accounting courses improve student learning. Data analytics are increasingly being used in the accounting workplace, and professors are increasingly incorporating data analytics cases in class. The goal of this project is to capture how these projects improve students' learning, what skills students have that can be applied in these cases, and what skills students need to learn through these cases. The goal of this project would be to develop a case, execute the case as a class assignment, and then evaluate how well the case served the students through improved learning outcomes.
Technology or Computational Component
This project would use Qualtrics to create a survey to capture data and SPSS to analyze the data. The case that would be designed would use Tableau.
