Project Description

This research focuses on the role of technology in collaborative writing. It aims to address the question about the extent to which learners’ writing is enhanced when using digital tools in collaborative writing. Student researchers working on this project will review existing literature regarding the use of technology for collaborative writing, especially in the business context. They will also search for and evaluate digital tools that can be used to facilitate and assess technology-enhanced collaborative writing projects.

Technology or Computational Component

Together we will develop a better understanding of technology-enhanced collaborative writing as a pedagogical approach and how the writing processes can be efficiently captured and stored by virtue of the affordances of digital tools. Data will be collected using those digital tools and be analyzed to generate pedagogical implications for technology-enhanced collaborative writing in the business context.
