Project Description
The project collects and analyzes data from comic book fan mail, fanzines, fan clubs, and other participatory activities to understand comic book fans and readers, how they interact with the media and culture of comic books, and the role that comics and comics fandom plays in their lives.
Technology or Computational Component
The project involves general data management and analysis technologies, including database software, XML technologies, JSON data formats, and data analysis and visualization tools.
