Project Description
Students will be engaged in data collection and analysis with people living with epilepsy or mild cognitive impairments (MCI), Alzheimer's, and/or dementia and their caregivers. Data collection will take the form of surveys, interviews, and focus groups led by experienced graduate students (either in-person or virtual via Zoom), and both qualitative and quantitative data analysis will be conducted on the data. The study is IRB approved and will provide students with experience with user experience research in the context of healthcare industry.
Technology or Computational Component
Students will gain understanding of the health information technologies that are currently employed in providing care to the target populations, and propose possible designs to improve the technology that could then be prototyped and evaluated in the field.
