Project Description
Climate change is causing stronger and more variable storm events in the Great Lakes region. People in the Great Lakes region need to identify their personal and local vulnerabilities to these storm events, and develop adaptation strategies that will help them (and their homes) more resilient to the severe Great Lakes storms. To help people through this adaptation decision-making process, we will be holding focus groups this summer. The focus group data needs to be analyzed to determine optimal approaches for helping people through this process. (This is a risk communication project.)
Technology or Computational Component
This project involves survey analysis. At the base, the analysis will be descriptive. The potential exists for more in depth statistical analysis
