Project Description
Through computational analysis of comic book readership evidence (such as fan mail) we will study how readers and fans engage with comic book culture.
Technology or Computational Component
Technological components include data collection and cleaning, optical character recognition, text analysis tools, and data visualization software. Student will participate in data collection, analysis, and visualization, and will learn the different tools and software used in these stages of the research process.
