Data Analysis and Visualization using R and Experimental Economics
Human Biology Major (College of Arts & Sciences)
Ala Avoyan (College of Arts & Sciences)
The project is aimed to answer the question whether social norms, such as truth-telling and reciprocity, are linked and whether disrupting one norm disrupts the other. A research apprentice would work on the data generated using experimental methods to understand behavioral frictions in particular settings.
Technology or Computational Component
The project involves gathering data using an interface created by the researcher with the help of a research apprentice. We will show the research apprentics how the collected data will be formatted and analyzed using R, a programming language for statistical computing and graphics.
