The Outstanding Student Leader award is presented to individuals who have had a significant and positive influence on IU students, exemplifies leadership skills, encourages peers and serves as a staunch advocate for women and technology. This year’s recipients have both proven to be excellent supervisors, masters of project management, creative thinkers, champions of inclusion and “persuasive cheermeisters.” They both consistently model ethical behavior, search out opportunities to collaborate, are generous with their time and talents, and rather than saying “we can’t” they instead ask, “how can we?”
