Vivian Halloran

Vivian Halloran is an Associate Professor in Comparative Literature. She has two published books: Exhibiting Slavery and The Immigrant Kitchen, and is currently working on her third. In her research, writing, and teaching, she investigates how literary genres such as autobiography, short fiction, and the novel intersect with, and mutually inform, scientific discourse, nutritionism, popular culture, or museums as sites of cultural performance.
