You know to edit apply filters to your pictures through Instagram but what about Python? Join us for an interactive workshop to learn how to use Python to change your photo, pixel by pixel! Some basic experience with Python is recommended however this workshop is open to all!

Participants are requested to bring a laptop with PyCharm Community (free software) downloaded.

Tara Aggarwal

Tara is the lead intern for Women Who Code. She is a junior pursuing a dual degree in computer science at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, & Engineering and marketing at the Kelley School of Business. Having joined our center as a freshman, she quickly fell in love with the community she found there and the encouragement given for following her passions within technology. Also part of Women in Business, she strongly believes anyone has the capability to learn something new and is deeply focused on empowering other women to find their unconventional path.

Manvi Saxena

Manvi is an intern on the Women Who Code Team. She is a sophomore majoring in Intelligent Systems Engineering with a concentration in Cyber-Physical Systems, and minoring in math. Her interest in technology started when she joined her high school robotics team, and has grown ever since. Manvi participated in our REU-W her freshman year, where she had the opportunity to participate in research related to social robotics. She previously worked at Girls Who Code, an organization committed to closing the gender gap in technology by educating and encouraging young women to pursue careers in technology.
