Avrie Allen is the graphic designer for the Center, and this is her fourth year in this role. She is a Cox Scholar, a senior in the Graphic Design B.F.A. program, and pursuing a minor in Art History. Avrie plans on continuing her studies in a M.F.A. program following graduation and pursuing a career in design education. Within her B.F.A. program she is working to develop collaborative publications and platforms for the cultivation of feminist culture. She is currently interested in concepts of ethical media, feminist internet, the handmade web, and internet ecology. Her interests outside of design include reading, gardening, cooking, and long-distance running.
