Videography Intern

Job Summary

The IU Center of Excellence for Women & Technology Videography Intern will report to the Marketing & Communications Coordinator and will work closely with the Center staff and interns to shoot and edit videos targeted to faculty, staff, student, and alumni audiences.

All student employees are required to:

  • Attend mandatory Student Leadership Orientation Retreat on August 28-29, 2020.
  • Attend and present at our annual Technology Summit on on March 5-6, 2021

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a current IU Bloomington student (undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D.)
  • Your own equipment (video camera, tripod/monopod, lights, computer with editing software, etc.), or access to such equipment
  • Videography experience, including shooting and editing of videos
  • Ability to professionally interact with IU administrators, faculty, staff, students, and alumni 
  • Attention to detail and deadlines 
  • Ability to create video for different audiences
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Flexible availability, with occasional weekend and evening availability 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and to gracefully take direction and edits
  • Must check email frequently and respond as soon as possible on availability for assignments as they arise
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with little supervision

Schedule and Pay

Work Schedule

An average of 5-10 hours per week.
